Educators

ARE hopes to inspire students to pursue careers in natural resource industries and we can’t do it without the help of educators. ARE is here to give educators the tools they need to provide students of all ages with engaging and educational opportunities. Our STEM-based curriculum has been correlated to the Alaska State Science Standards and Common Core. We also provide opportunities for students to meet with industry experts outside the classroom and participate in other programs.

ARE will coordinate classroom visits with industry experts who will speak to your class about career opportunities. ARE also provides educators with continuing education opportunities to help expand your knowledge of the energy, mining and forestry industries.
