We proudly ignite, inspire and educate Alaska’s future leaders but we couldn’t do any of it without our partners and donors. Through outreach efforts, we spark an interest in resources to inspire future scientists, geologists and engineers. By teaching our youth about the vast resources and possibilities within our state, they pursue careers at home and continue Alaska’s bright future.

For over 30 years, we’ve been providing Alaska’s educators with Alaska Resource Kits that include hands-on activities and lesson plans to cultivate curious minds. These physical materials are made possible thanks to donations. Donors also help underwrite ARE activities and outreach efforts.

Donor individuals and organizations are not involved in the development and approval of the curriculum, as it is set by state-based standards. We partner with state organizations like Career & Technical Education and the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation to help us develop our curriculum.
