ARE’s Natural Resource Management Teacher Externship is a weeklong professional development adventure for Alaska educators. Earn three University of Alaska Anchorage credits. Learn about Alaska’s natural resources by touring mines and hearing from top industry professionals. The externship is a combination of hands-on learning and ARE curriculum implantation. Finish the week with a unique understanding of Alaska’s natural resources and how to bring these lessons into your classroom.
