Natalie Gomez
Marketing and Events Manager
Natalie Gomez is an Alaskan and proud Hispanic who brings a diverse set of skills and experiences in philanthropy, teaching, workforce development, event planning and food vending. She’s also a small business owner. Her true passion lies in mentoring youth, particularly through career exploration, cultural awareness and STEM.Â
Gomez has experience in education and community outreach. She’s worked with the Anchorage School District’s after-school programs at Title I schools and supported Alaska Native and American Indian youth through the Cook Inlet Tribal Council. She also has experience in programs through CITC’s Fab Lab, UAA’s TRIO Program, and AKChoice (formerly Paideia Cooperative School).
Gomez holds a bachelor’s degree in human service counseling from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and completed internships through Madison Square Garden Sports Marketing, UAS Student teaching and an Addiction Treatment Center in Las Vegas.
Gomez is deeply committed to youth development through academics and extracurricular activities and exposing students to a wide variety of skills and careers. Gomez is thrilled to help ARE with events, camps and in the classroom. Â
